HDUM has been approved by the Korean Register (KR) classification society as an IHM expert company. HDUM is therefore authorized to conduct visual and/or sampling checks and testing of hazardous materials and preparing the inventory of hazardous materials(IHM) on board for all ships under the Korean Register of Shipping.
The aforementioned authority evaluated the capability of HDUM from all aspects as detailed in Appendix II of Marine Operations Note 01/2020 and recognized that HDUM meets the provisions in MEPC Resolution 269(68) for the development of the Inventory of Hazardous Materials.
