Mr. Chen has been serving HDUM as professional Marine Surveyor and Manager of Singapore office since 2022. He has completed his Master Degree in Maritime Study in Nan Yang Technological University and Degree in Marine Tech in Guangzhou Maritime University. Prior to that, he has been Master to several ocean-going vessels, including OBO, chemical tanker, bulk carrier etc. He has also worked as Marine superintendent, MSQ manager, CSO and DPA, Fleet Manager Cum Insurance Manager and Crew Manager in the past. With his rich sea-going experience along with Masters in Maritime Study, Mr. Chen has accumulated in-depth knowledge about technical as well as commercial aspects of shipping industry over the years. Thus, it makes him a valuable talent to HDUM.
