Bunker / Condition Surveys
ON/OFF hire Condition survey is conducted to the vessel at the beginning and/or end of the chartering and aims at checking the overall condition of the vessel. It is performed in order to identify any damage present prior to the vessel going on/off hire.
ON/OFF hire Bunker survey is required in order to calculate the exact amount of bunkers on board at the time of vessel’s delivery/redelivery.
Bunker Quantity Survey (BQS) is the supervision of the vessel’s bunkering. This service has big importance to the managers / operators in view that Fuel Oil is one of the biggest contributors to the cost of operating a vessel.
We also conduct Bunker ROB survey to determine the exact quantity of oil present onboard during the time of survey and detecting any pocket or hidden oil which is not declared by the ship.
